Well, I guess by now that you've already figured out that I'm Kim....Wife to Mark, mum to Kayden, Erin and Eli
In 2006, our gorgeous red haired little wonder was born prem at 34 weeks after a pretty horrific pregnancy. Kayden is now 7 years old and is such a wonderful boy, he has been diagnosed with ADHD, Autism and dyslexia. Despite his little quirks, he's my little boy genius ! He LOVES computers, computer games, maths and reading. He also a member of Jissen Jutsu ju jitsu/kickboxing club, And a member of the cub scouts. We are very proud of him and I am sure that over the course of my blogging I will talk frequently about or challenges of having a child on the spectrum and of his highs, lows and achievements
In 2008 (just 2 weeks exactly before Kaydens 2nd birthday) We had our daughter, the most beutiful little girl you could possibly imagine with her strawberry blond hair and big blue eyes. Erin Jo was born at 37 weeks by a planned c section. It was instant love and she utterly completed our little family (or so we thought...), I had never thought I wanted a little girl as I was always a tom boy...but Erin had me utterly smitten since the 1st time I saw her little heart flutter on her scans :)
Erin (or ezzy as she often gets) has been under the Alder Hey dermatology clinic since she was 4 months old as she has photosensotive excema, she has specialist creams for when we play out in the sunshine so that the light doesnt cause her to have a reaction and her face to swell, these creams are like gold dust as the ONLY place in the whole of the UK that makes them is Ninewells hospital in Dundee, Scotland !! My little unique princess
Like her big brother, she is a very clever little girl, she's such a littl artist and is amazingly creative, constantly drawing, painting and making things. she also has a heart of gold and we call her 'Dr.Doolittle' as she has an amazing rapor with any animal big or small
Then came Eli...
All 8lb 1oz of pure gorgeousness, came crashing into our world at 37weeks by c section, on the 12th march 2014..He is such an adorable little boy, always smiling and worshiped by his big brother and sister. Our little bless who we never expected, but love dearly...we are now 100% totally complete :)
So, thats me KJ.....and my Kids hehe...now a little more about our life in general!
We are a close family who live 7 doors away from my parents and in the next street from my sister and brother in law. All my life we have rescued various waifs and strays (much to my hubbies frustrations) and we share our home currently with 3 dogs, 5 cats, a rabbit and a snake, over the years I have rescued and homed litrally hundreds of cats and dogs. Its a total passion of mine and although it can be hardwork, emotional and stressful, it is amazingly rewarding knowing that I may not be able to change the world, but I can change the world of the animals that I help. I am always happy to try help anybody that I can with any advice that they need concerning their pets.
My long suffering hubby Mark, is my soul mate. We have our ups and downs and life isnt always easy, but trhough thick and thin he is stuck with me !! Mark is employed by the NHS working in a medium secure forensic psychiatric unit. He has a masters in Psychology but would love to further his career and become a psychiatric nurse or a social worker.
So, now you have the basics about us, I look forward to sharing my rambles with you and to making new friends. This is my 1st ever blog so bear with me why I get the hang of things and I will catch up very soon !!
Lots of Love
Kim :)
